The Nature of Light: Terms & Conditions

1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions apply to submissions made to Mount Khiri’s visual series titled “The Nature of Light” (“the Series”). By submitting work, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

Submissions are open to photographers based in Australia or Thailand. Both emerging and established photographers may apply. Entrants must be 18 years or older.

3. Ownership & Rights

Photographers retain full copyright and ownership of all submitted images at all times.

By submitting work, you confirm that:

You are the original creator of the images
You own all rights necessary to submit and license the images
Your submission does not infringe on any third-party rights

4. Licence to Mount Khiri

By submitting images, you grant Mount Khiri a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use selected images solely in connection with “The Nature of Light” series.

This includes use across:

Mount Khiri social media channels
Mount Khiri website
Related promotional content directly associated with the Series

Mount Khiri may crop, resize, or format images as required for publication, while maintaining the integrity of the original work.

5. Usage Limitations

Images will not be used outside of the “The Nature of Light” series or unrelated marketing campaigns without additional permission.

6. Selection & Publication

Submission does not guarantee selection or publication. Mount Khiri reserves the right to determine which images are featured and when they are published.

Publication of selected work will occur at Mount Khiri’s discretion and may be scheduled across a series of posts over time as part of the ongoing “The Nature of Light” series. Timing of publication is not guaranteed or fixed.

7. Credit

All published images will include photographer credit, typically in the form of the photographer’s full name and social media handle (tagged where platform functionality allows). Where provided and with permission, a short bio and portrait photo may also be included.

8. Gifted Product

Selected photographers will be contacted following selection and arrangements will be made for delivery of their chosen sunglasses.

Photographers will receive a pair of Mount Khiri sunglasses (and case), chosen by Mount Khiri or as otherwise specified.

Sunglasses are provided as a promotional gift in connection with participation in the Series and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. They are non-exchangeable and not redeemable for cash.

9. Removal of Content

Photographers may request removal of their images from Mount Khiri’s channels at any time.

Mount Khiri will review all removal requests in good faith and act within a reasonable timeframe.

10. Content Standards

Submitted work must not contain unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content. The photographer is responsible for ensuring all necessary permissions (including model and location releases where applicable).

11. Liability

Mount Khiri is not liable for any loss, damage, or costs arising from participation in this submission process or use of submitted images in accordance with these terms.
